Built on Route 17

Michael Zahabian and Mustafa Karali opened Kabab Cafe together after a long search for the right building. They found it at 501 Route 17 South in Paramus, the space that used to be Eons, and rebuilt it top to bottom.
The rebuild made room for two ideas at once. On one side, a kabab house: doner carved to order, adana and shish over live coals, wraps and salads, and a hot table of fresh-cooked dishes that changes with the day. On the other, KC Bakery Cafe: a pastry case, whole cakes by order, and a full coffee bar.
The dining room is built for staying. Booths and big tables, an outdoor patio, free WiFi, and outlets at every seat. Eat well, then stay a while.
